How to choose a saree colour
Match colour to skin tone and occasion: jewel tones for evening, pastels for day functions and earthy shades for daily wear.
Geetanjali Saree stocks cotton-silk, party-wear and everyday sarees for retailers and families at Millenium Textiles Market, with fresh arrivals every week and careful dispatch across India.
Each saree is checked for border, pallu and finish, then folded in a pouch with its design code before it is stocked.
A short routine for retailers restocking and families buying for a function.

A Surat saree house built on colour and honest finishing.
Geetanjali Saree began in 2009 with a small counter and a few dozen cotton-silk sarees. Today our shop at Millenium Textiles Market stocks party-wear, everyday and festive sarees, with new arrivals every week and parcels going to retailers across the country.
Shopkeepers return because the saree in the parcel looks like the saree in the photo, and because a design that sells out can be reordered quickly.

Short notes from the saree counter.
Match colour to skin tone and occasion: jewel tones for evening, pastels for day functions and earthy shades for daily wear.
Cotton-silk blends a cotton base with silk threads, giving the sheen of silk with lighter weight and easier care.
Fold in muslin, refold every few months along different lines and keep silica packets in the cupboard to beat damp.
Start with the classic nivi drape, then try seedha pallu or a belted style that holds well through a long function.
Balance bridal, party and daily weaves, keep evergreen colours on hand and reorder fast sellers in small lots.
Check border alignment, pallu work, colour against the photo and any loose threads before accepting the parcel.
